This article provides a concise overview of the current powder metallurgy activities in Australia and the important developments made to date. The overview is concerned mainly with conventional powder metallurgy of titanium and titanium alloys while touching on the rapidly growing additive manufacturing activities in Australia. The article ends with a note of the brief history, current activities and future plan of PM Ti in New Zealand.
