"The basic density and air-dry densities both before and after reconditioning are tabulated for the wood of over 300 species from Australia and other parts of the South-west Pacific. The tangential and radial shrinkages to 12 per cent, moisture content and unit shrinkages are also tabulated. In addition, formulae are provided for t he computation of other quantities such as saturation moisture content, density at moisture contents other than 12 per cent., volumetric shrinkage, intersection point, void volume, and shrinkage to any moisture content." -- Summary, p.
