These are a series of reports on the research project Climate Change Impact on the Deterioration of Concrete Infrastructure in Australia. Part 1 of the report reviewed the mechanisms of concrete infrastructure and current practices (standards) to ensure the durability of concrete structures. It also reviews the modelling of concrete deterioration, and significance of potential impacts of climate change on concrete infratructure. Part 2 of the report presents a detailed modeling and simulation of concrete deterioration, and the research results of climate change impact on the concrete structures under various environmental exposures in Australia, especially in urban centres. It also highlights the potantial adaptation solutions through new design of concrete structures. Each part of the report includes both full and brief version for research scientist and policy-makers, respectively.
