We propose to implement approaches to solve the multihomed flow management problem in the OPNET simulator. We formulate various decision methods as binary integer programming problems and use them (with the CPLEX solver) to drive the network selection and flow distribution in the simulated scenarios. We evaluate the behaviour of application flows depending on the decision method in use. This allows us to more accurately evaluate these approaches' potential when applied to real network scenarios, were adaptation loops in protocols and algorithms in the network stack may alter the expected performance.
